The NIHR Applied Research Collaboration Greater Manchester (ARC-GM) is offering an incredible opportunity for staff in Greater Manchester to advance their careers in applied health or care research. With funding of up to £25,000 available, this initiative is designed to support professionals intending to apply for further NIHR Career Development Funding.
Who Can Apply?

- Health and care organisations in Greater Manchester
- Higher Education Institutions in Greater Manchester
We are particularly keen to receive applications from individuals working in Social Care (including Social Work) and Public Health, especially those aiming to develop an application for an NIHR Academic Career Development Award.
How to Apply
Senior staff must complete the attached nomination form in collaboration with the candidate seeking funding. Completed forms should be submitted via email to arc-gm@nihr.ac.uk.
