Would you like to increase your team’s interest and engagement with research and innovation?
Work undertaken by NHS R&D NW showed that Service Managers want to integrate Research and Innovation into their services but some highlighted that they don’t have the knowledge or confidence to make this happen!
This innovative leadership development programme was run in partnership with Health Education North West and set out to equip leaders and managers to lead and develop cultures of R&I in their services. The Programme ran in Preston at Brockholes Reserve and comprised of 4 linked one day workshops (1 day per month).
Participating in this programme:
- Developed your knowledge and understanding of national, regional and organisational R&I agendas
- Increased your understanding of how organisational cultures are formed and shaped by leaders
- Developed your skills and expertise in facilitating and leading cultures of R&I within your service
Who was the programme for?
Service managers working at band 8a and above (and band 7 if you have a team of more than 10 people).
Was there a charge?
No, the programme was funded by Health Education North West
A full evaluation of this programme of work can be found here.
