The North West People in Research Forum are holding an event on 30th June that will explore:
- How service user involvement in research can improve social care and social work practice.
- The challenges of service user involvement in social care and social work research, and how these can be overcome
Participants will have the opportunity to work together to develop a charter for best practice in service user involvement in social care research. Peter Beresford is confirmed as the keynote speaker with more speakers to be confirmed soon.
This event is open to everyone, but will be of particular interest to social care and social service users, carers, researchers, voluntary organisations, user involvement / Public and Patient Involvement professionals and local authority commissioners.
