NIHR Short Survey: Help Shape the Future of Research Careers in Climate, Health & Sustainability

The National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) has launched a short survey to better understand the current career development landscape for researchers working in climate, health and sustainability.

In 2024 NIHR made a set of public commitments setting out our ambitions in climate, health and sustainability; including a key focus on research capacity development.

We would like to gather insights from early, mid-career, and established independent researchers currently working in climate, health and sustainability on the current research landscape, and in particular the support and academic career development opportunities available to researchers. We’d also like to hear from those in adjacent areas aspiring to work in the field in the future or change career direction.

Please take a moment to share your thoughts in a short survey; which will be invaluable in helping shape what future areas of support/focus might look like.

Depending on how much you have to say, we’d expect the survey to take between 5 and 10 minutes.

The survey will close at 5pm on the 26th November.

If you have any questions, or would like to speak to someone about the survey and the wider work, you are welcome to contact the NIHR Climate, Health and Sustainability team via e-mail: sustainability@nihr.ac.uk
