NHS Research & Development North West is delighted to announce the appointment of Amanda Craig as our new Chief Executive Officer (Designate) from 1st December, 2021.
Amanda has been appointed following a rigorous and innovative recruitment process called “Bridge to the New”, led by the current CEO Professor Stuart Eglin and supported by Health Education England (NW) and the Northern Care Alliance. The recruitment process attracted a large number of very high calibre candidates from across the health and care sector.
Amanda originally joined the organisation in August 2018 as part of the organisation’s Faculty of Associates and progressed to Associate Director in December 2019. She has led on governance and external funding bids and has recently stepped up to lead on the delivery of the North West England Nurse Midwifery, Allied Health professional Research Capacity and Capability Strategy 2021-24.
