LHP RDP 2026–27 cohort launch

A new chapter in research leadership begins! 🌱

Today, we welcomed the 2026–27 cohort of the Liverpool Health Partners Researcher Development Programme (LHP RDP) for the start of their two-day residential launch.

Bringing together health and care professionals from across Merseyside and Cheshire, the programme creates space to explore research, develop new skills, build confidence and connect with colleagues who share a passion for improving health and care through research.

Over the next 12 months, participants will take part in workshops, mentoring, group coaching and reflective learning as they develop their research knowledge and leadership potential.

Delivered by NHS Research & Development North West, with facilitation from Jana Kennedy and the programme team, in collaboration with Liverpool Health Partners, and accredited by the University of Liverpool, the programme represents a shared commitment to developing research capacity and supporting future research leaders.

This is just the beginning.
