The NIHR Greater Manchester Patient Safety Research Collaboration (GM PSRC) has announced the opening of applications for its prestigious Patient Safety Research Development Award. This initiative aims to support early-career researchers and healthcare professionals committed to improving patient safety through innovative research.
This initiative supports aspiring researchers—clinicians, practitioners, methodologists, and more—by offering:
- Protected time (1–2 days/week for up to 12 months).
- Up to £15,000 funding for salary, training, and Patient and Public Involvement.
- Mentorship and collaboration with GM PSRC experts.
Open to professionals in the Northwest and East Midlands regions at all career stages, the award is designed to develop future leaders in patient safety research.
