We are excited to share with you that in October 2023, we will be launching the Practitioner Researcher Programme for adults and children’s social care across the North West region of England. This prestigious pilot programme is the first step onto a practitioner researcher pathway, offering a unique opportunity to those who are curious about the nature of research into practice, have questions they want to answer, or are already engaged in research in a limited way.
The programme is designed to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to undertake research in their practice setting and to develop their research capabilities. Through a combination of workshops, mentoring, and practical exercises, participants will learn how to identify research questions, design and conduct research, and communicate their findings effectively. We are committed to providing a safe and inclusive learning environment, and as such, the programme will be delivered by experienced researchers and practitioners in a collaborative and supportive way.
